It is highly recommended to have an XBox Controller to play the game. One player can also use keyboard with mouse but any other player will need to use a controller.
I only have one gamepad. Can I play with someone else on the same machine?
Yes, the first player can use mouse/keyboard, and they other can use the gamepad. Go the in OPTIONS / Controls and set "No Gamepad For Player 1" to true
When will the game be release?
When it's done. Target: Summer 2025.

Simon Rinfret is the only developer (game design, level design, programming). Assets are mostly bought on the Unreal Marketplace.
Can I be involve in the game, make suggestion? By part of the design?

Can I be a beta tester?
It is possible to play the game before its release. It needs to be tested thoroughly. There will be instruction on the site when a build is available to test. If you play, please share your feedbacks, anything that can help or improve the game.
How long has this game been on development?
Since 2018, sometimes full time, sometimes not.
How many levels are in the game?
The levels are still in development, but there should be around 20 levels. They don't have the same length or intensity.
How long for a full playthrough?
For a level 1 in normal difficulty, it should take around 6h to do a full playthrough. It is quite difficult to estimate since is largely depends on your skills. If you play coop, it will be easier too.
How many difficulties are there? What are the differences? Which is recommended?
There are 3 difficulties: easy, normal and hard.
Easy: health generating on idle, no random elite spawning. Enemies are easier to kill and inflict less damage. Less chance of good loot.
Hard: Enemies are harder to kill and inflict more damage. Hard is only unlocked when normal is finished. Better loot drop %.
The normal difficulty is recommended and is the one that has been balanced the most for the best experience.
Which class do you recommend for a beginner?
Huntress and Paladin probably have the most intuitive playstyle of all. Saboteur is not recommended: it is very lethal to large crowd, but harder to use one against one and extremely squishy, by design.
What are the Guardians?
The Guardians are part of the story. They were huge entities, golem-like, meant to protect the kingdom from any threat. They were created by a magic called "dust of light". They vanished during the long era of peace.
What are companions? How important are they?
Companions are the vessels, mostly animals, that can carry (willingly or by mistake) the dust of light magic. Throughout the game, you can play with 6 companions (one at a time, per player).
They are usually associated with an elemental magic, and sacrificing them grants a temporary power.
Companions are part of your team, they will help you defeat the enemies and you can do synergies with them.
What are synergies?
A synergy is the combination of 2 attacks that are creating a different power. They can be used between classes and companions. You can even use some of the enemy's magic against them.
How many players can play at the same time?
You can play up to 4 players. Each one has to pick a different class.
Can I play online?
There is no online multiplayer. However, you can always play online by using Remote Play on Steam.
As a single developer, making it it online coop was simply too much work.
How many classes are in the game?
5 classes: Barbarian, Huntress, Paladin, Saboteur and Sorceress.
Are you paid to develop the game?
No, that is one of the reason why it took so long to develop. On the opposite, lots of money was spent in assets, website, accesses.
